I’m on the look out for more of these, I have all the ones Cross Stitch Button – Maureen has from https://www.sewstitch.co.uk/ I believe she won’t be shipping any more in from Russia because it’s so expensive. I really like these than the original Pako Thread Organisers because I find when I pull a thread off …
Bead Storage
I don’t have many beads, but I’d seen the bead storage that was like small Tic Tac boxes, well I thought that was what I was ordering the other week from China, but I didn’t go for the 64 box option but just the 24 options. It arrived yesterday and sadly I’d chosen the wrong …
Combined all my HAED threads
I spent last week adding the stitch information into the spreadsheet that is available on the HAED FB group, where you can add your stitch count for each thread on your HAED charts to give you an estimated usage report, With me stitching On Blue on 32ct I would use less thread than the recommended …
Small USB Fan
I just thought I share a good find from Poundland in the UK. We got these little fans a few weeks ago and they are brilliant, they only cost £2, we now have 5 of them. I has a USB plug on it. With an on/off button at the back, just one speed and doesn’t …
New Scissors
A lovely dear friend sent me some new scissors last week. I normally use scissors (left in the picture) but I’m finding because I’m lazy,,,lol, that when I use metallic threads I forget to cut with something other than my squissors, so in turn I end up making them blunt, I can’t tell you how …
Stitching Accessories
I thought I’d show you my stitching accessories, I bought these a few years ago now, and to be honest I forgot I had them!! till recently. I think I purchased them from Beadin Luvverly on Facebook, I’m 95% sure I did. They are so pretty, I really must use them. Look I’m trying to improve …
PolkaDotStitchery – Ball Pointed Needles
The other day I received my order from PolkaDotStitery in Canada, for some ball point needles. Kati, only sells them via Facebook, I believe to try and keep costs down, like I did for the past 2 years selling my Cross Stitch Journal, but it got that busy that I struggled at times to keep …
Pretty Thread Unpicker (Frogger)
I got this pretty little thread unpicker (Frogger). I thought I’d show you, I haven’t tried it yet but I have a feeling the imitation needle is too thick to get under the crosses. If so I’m thinking about maybe getting a darning needle and change it over. I’ll let you know how I get …
Autumn Sky Update – OMG hate invisible thread.
OMG that invisible thread is a nightmare. I can’t see it to thread my needle then where I have to stitch. That was heard work. Top beads done. Top part finished so not long now to the finish line. At 42 hours now I think.
Grime Guards from the UK
Whippey woo. Just got my first grime guard from Sandra. They are for the next size down Millienium frame but I don’t have anything on that one but they work equally as good on the 20″ frame. Love them. I’ll be getting more. I’ve now moved my needle minders and ORT bag onto my grime …
