I have just received a beading mat today, a sticky one and it’s brilliant, no more messing about picking up a pot of beads to throw them across the sofa, every time I want a bead. This mat is great on my working fabric. I have left the backing plastic on the mat and held it in place with 2 strong magnets, then when I’m going to work on a section with loads of beads, I just get the beads I need on the mat and job done, just bring the needle over to the mat and pick them up. Quick and easy.
